BM spec thinking of going MM spec2010-03-09Like Caldone Shot ftw!
In my opinion, this is one of the best talents possible for BG PvP'ing. I'm sure there are many times casters have cursed at their monitors after I silenced them at a key moment.
I don't have experience with BM or SV deep specs, but I don't think you'd go too wrong going MM for BGs. In my experience, pets tend to have less utility against human opponents than they do against mobs. So, I could see where a lot of the benefits of BM spec might be lost in a PvP environment. I say this with the qualification that I'm not BM or S...
Growl Resists2010-03-04When does the next rank of Growl become available to you? I noticed quite frequently throughout the leveling process that as I got towards the end of the of a particular Growl rank, the resist rate went way up. In those cases, it's usually only a level or two before you can get the next rank of Growl (might require taming another pet and learning it from that one so you can teach it to your main pet). I went through something very similar on my Warlock when I was one level shy of being able to get the next rank for Torment. Fighting same level mobs was painful, but once I hit the next level and trained the new Torment r...
Pvp Spec?2010-02-26The biggest question I'd have is--since you felt the need to be able to tame Exotics, which pet did you choose? A silithid would be good, a devilsaur might not be quite so great.
Also, I don't do a lot of pvp, but if I were going to I would probably at least pick up Aimed Shot from Marks--I imagine it would be quite useful.

More Huge News: Faction Change Service Coming2009-09-28Nethaera has just announced on the official forums that we will soon be receiving the ability to change our faction. Holy crap. This may be the most radical, fundamental change to the game dynamic that I've seen since the game came out. I admit i've always wanted this for my own characters, but really...I guess it was one of those things I never thought would change. Now that it's changing, it's kind of...scary. The full quote from Nethaera is after the break. We wanted to give everyone a very early heads-up that, in response to player requests, we're developing a new service for World of Warcraft ...

WoW Update 10/30/072009-08-28I'll get to responding to people and what not within the next day or two, after I tend to guild administrative stuff, which I am also behind in lol. Last week was hectic: I had to evacuate my residence on Monday and Tuesday of last week because of the wildfire situation in Southern California. Everyone and everything is okay thankfully, but ugh...
I've been putting off the Halloween events and finally had a chance to do the Headless Horseman event (by do I mean farm) last night in Scarlet Monastery. Picked up a spell damage ring, a healing ring, and a neat looking pumpki...

22, whh is now 24, but a2009-05-14So I finally took Paladin up past 22, whh is now 24, but a Draenei(rather than BE). My question is based on whh stats are most important for PvE grinding. I saw two pair of pants last night, bought them both, and don't know whh to wear. First are +7spirit +7strength. Now this appeals to me greatly, as I took Priest to 49 and am wholly obsessed with Spirit. Plus, more MPsond = no drinking! Also, +7str is always ne. The other are +7stamina +7strength. These give me 70hp, plus the 7str again. It got me to thinking, as a Ret...
go Ret You won't be able to2009-05-14If you want to be DPShealing, then go Ret. You won't be able to heal as good as a well-played Holy, but you'll do just fine. Your DPS will be vastly improved though. Think of it on a ale of 1-10 (10 being best withinlass) Ret sp 10 = DPS 8 = Heal Holy sp 5 = DPS 10 = Heal
Ive played around with the RetHoly sp...getting SoL and sh. Its nowhere near as good as going full holy. Sure you get slightly more spellpower and If there was a fight where youould stand in 1 ple and spam HL on the main tank and noone else then it would be great. But realistally thats not thease. Not having holy shk is a giant detriment to your healing a...
you get warstomp Maybe that2009-05-09Unless you're a tauren, then you get warstomp. Maybe that will help you get some distae :)
i mentioned theooldown thing in my OP:
Things That Work: 1) Try to get him intoombat before heanharge you. If it works, he'll be foed to inteept. If not, it's not a huge loss although it is annoying. 2) Use your PvP trinket to get out of Snare and kite in his deadzone. It's possible to be out of melee range but not inside Inteept range - Rogues do it a...
