In my opinion, this is one of the best talents possible for BG PvP'ing. I'm sure there are many times casters have cursed at their monitors after I silenced them at a key moment.
I don't have experience with BM or SV deep specs, but I don't think you'd go too wrong going MM for BGs. In my experience, pets tend to have less utility against human opponents than they do against mobs. So, I could see where a lot of the benefits of BM spec might be lost in a PvP environment. I say this with the qualification that I'm not BM or SV spec.Go MM :P
That being said BM is currently the highest DPS spec available (I arggue but the numbers prove otherwise) and if you know how to play it well, keep with it.
I love MM in BG's due to the Silence/Scatter avail.-Wheels
